The Greater Omaha Chamber of Commerce hosted the 2007 Omaha 25 Excellence in Business Awards on May 15th. More than 700 people were in attendance at the Holiday Convention Centre to honor various businesses and individuals for their accomplishments over the past year. 25 awards were given including two new awards: the Corporate Citizenship and Women in Leadership Awards. The event was sponsored by KPMG LLP, KETV and Smith Hayes Financial Services Corporation.
Deb Bass, president and CEO or Bass & Associates, a HunTel company, was presented the Women in Leadership award, which honors a woman for business and community leadership, mentoring and professional excellence in her chosen field.
